City Facilitates Videotron Permit in the Building

Jakarta Provincial Government facilitates the permit for videotron development to advertise. Eventually, government and building owner will make profit-sharing system for videotron management.

Head of Jakarta One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (BPTSP), Edi Junaedi said the building owner reasonably brings a design for videotron installation to the PTSP office.

"The requirement is very easy, they owner just brings the design. If it is compliance with the rule, it will directly be approved without review in the field," he expressed, Tuesday (3/12).

ERP Socialization Conducted One Year

But each building is only limited to one piece of videotron. Furthermore, there will be a monitoring team involving their related unit that will be headed by Jakarta Satpol PP. If there is found in violation and unauthorized personnel, they will follow up it.

He explains, the permit is in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation No. 244/2015 on Implementation Guidelines for the Implementation of the advertisement in the capital. Later on, the profit-sharing system has been set up for the results of all ads published by the building owner.

"Especially for government advertising is free, while the other ads would be calculated through profit-sharing system in accordance with the regulation," he said.

He added, besides making the road becomes lighter, the videotron will also be one of Jakarta's local revenue sources which half comes from tax revenue.
